Dan and Kathy Stump have been the senior pastors at International Church of Barcelona since December 2002. In 1981 they began serving as missionaries in Europe. Their places of service include Germany, Southern Spain, Italy and Malta. During their 20 years of ministry in Europe they pastored several multi-national churches similar to ICB. They have a great love for people and are gifted in the ministry of hospitality.
Pastors Dan and Kathy believe that the internationals living in Europe are potential missionaries to both their home and host nations. The great spiritual need of Europe motivates them to provide pastoral leadership to the people God has sent to reach the city of Barcelona and to be involved in starting new churches through the Southern Europe Ministry Center.
Priscilla Blair has served the Spanish church for many years in and around the Barcelona area. In 1993 she joined the pastoral staff of ICB, then known as Crossroads, serving first in the ministry of music; then Sunday School and Care Ministry that was created to help those in need. Now she is serving in General Ministries.
Angela Greenwood is from the UK and has been a part of ICB’s fellowship for over seven years. Originally she came to Spain to work as a librarian, and after four years in Barcelona she began working full-time for ICB. Her role is “Music and Media Ministries” which includes leading the Worship Band, media related activities, and also leading a bible study and organizing young peoples’ activities.
Miguel Luzquiños is from Peru. As a young man he attended a Bible Institute in Lima, Peru after which he embarked on a life of missions starting in the Peruvian jungle! It was there he met his wife and they spent several years as missionaries before moving to London. He recently retired from the Immigration Department in London and was lead by the Lord to full time service in Barcelona. His responsibilities are “practical ministries” which include prayer, counseling, moving chairs, singing, and any other needs related to the church.
Brew Brewington and Lydia Calles our are Youth and Children’s pastors. Brew and Lydia were married in 2007. Lydia grew up in the south of Spain with her American mother and Spanish father and two brothers. She is a recent graduate of IBSTE Bible School in Castelldefels, Spain. It was her heart’s desire to find a place to do Christian service after graduating from Bible school. Her responsibilities now include organizing Sunday School and various midweek Bible studies. Brew teaches our youth and organizes special events for them. He also works for Juventud Para Cristo (Youth for Christ). Bev Gillen is British, but has been a missionary for several years mainly in Malta (apart from a short time spent in West Africa.) At ICB she looks after the Women’s Ministry which meets once a month on a Saturday at Les Planes and also the Care Ministry which cares for people in the church who have needs. She has 2 children, Benj (23yrs) who lives and works for the Lord in Canada and Becky (21yrs) who is in full time missions in the UK.
Elke Greulich is originally from Germany and has been a full-time missionary since 1993. She has been living and ministering in Spain since 2000 and an active member of ICB since 2002. From 2006-2009 ICB has sent her off to study Theology & Counselling in the UK. Loving and caring for people and helping them grow into the image of Christ is her passion. She serves ICB mainly through Pastoral Counselling.
Brian and Ruthie Gomez are the assistant pastors and started serving at the International Church of Barcelona in 2009. They have experience in pastoring children, youth, and young adults; coordinating outreach efforts; working on church planting teams; and providing counseling for individuals, couples, and families. Both have a passion to use their gifts, experience, and training to reach the growing immigrant population of Barcelona as well as long term Spanish residents. The third member of the Gomez team is Sara.
