Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Worship is at the heart of ICB and in the hearts of everyone who is part of the worship team. Our aim is to bring people into the presence of God through music, letting the Holy Spirit come and work in us and through us. Our vision as a worship team is to let God use us through the medium of music, to help everyone who is a part of the congregation to know Him more intimately.

Praise Him in the morning…
The worship team participates in the services every Sunday morning. As the group is quite large we try to rotate people so that all those who have a heart for worship and a gift for music can take part. God has blessed ICB in the area of music: at the moment we have singers, clarinet, flute, violin, piano, keyboards, guitars, bass guitar and drums and are open to more!

Praise Him in the evening…
We hold our practices every Saturday night. And this is not just a time of rehearsal but an opportunity to get to know God more and learn to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Practices are held from 8.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m. and are a requirement for participation on the worship team.

Praise Him when I’m young and when I’m old…
The worship group consists of all ages, nationalities and church backgrounds. This gives the group a rich variety and helps us to bring different styles of music and worship together, whether it is an up-to-date song by Delirious? Or a more traditional hymn like Amazing Grace.

Praise Him when I’m laughing, praise Him when I’m grieving, praise Him every season of the soul!
Everyone who has a passion and a heart for worshiping God, and a musical gifting is welcome.
